Instrument rentals and sales are available at special discounted rates for participating students.
The program culminates with a gala spring concert performed in the renowned Schoenberg Concert Hall on the UCLA campus!
Instruction begins in the fall and runs until the end of the school year
Classes meet Monday through Friday, 7:25–8:10 a.m., on days that school is in session
Students are eligible to participate beginning in their second year of Primary
The Extended Day Program (EDP) at UCLA Lab School provides after-school care integrated with the school’s approach to educating the whole child. The program is structured but also allows for children to make many of their own decisions about how to spend their time. Activities include music, art, science, sewing, cooking, dramatic play, computers, sports, board games, and more.
Voices of Action is a choir ensemble that brings awareness to communities in need through song. Students in Intermediate and Upper are welcome to join, no formal singing experience required. The choir practices once a week after school through the Fall and Winter Quarters, with a culminating benefit concert.
